The role as a Service Technician will be to: service, maintain and repair vehicles, in accordance with the Manufacturer’s methods and specifications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify potential faults and to rectify these to the required standards.

  • Liaising with customers, as and when required, to discuss the service, maintenance and repair requirements of their vehicles.

  • Maintaining your knowledge of, and expertise in, the product ranges and associated workshop procedures.

Necessary requisites for this position are as follows:

  • Previous experience.

  • A full UK driving licence.

As a Service Manager you will play a crucial role in driving the business forward. 
Friendly and professional, you’ll inspire your team to ensure that every customer’s experience is exceptional. 
Naturally confident, with proven managerial experience, you will have strong leadership skills along with the ability to implement change, strengthen the business and take the Centre to new heights.
Your duties will include: 
Maximising commercial opportunities, monitoring customer needs to maintain high levels of customer service, selecting and recruiting members of the Service Team and ensuring sufficient resources are available to meet servicing requirements. You will assist in achieving Sales & Financial targets, with defined operating and financial guidelines. You will contribute to the development of plans, policies and procedures as required to ensure the achievement of all tasks in an efficient and timely manner. 
You must have previous Managerial and Motor Trade experience.

The role as a Smart & Body Repair Manager will be to lead the effective daily operation of the Smart Repair Technicians, 3 Smart Repair Vans and spray booth within this business. You will report into a Head of Aftersales. Key responsibilities: Ensuring the effective daily operation of the Smart Repair Vans and spray booth Identifying and maximising upon potential commercial opportunities. Allocating, monitoring, supporting and reviewing the achievement of performance targets - both your own, and those of your team members. Leading relevant, structured and consistent team meetings, and business updates. Contributing to the development, and maintenance, of robust plans, policies and procedures. Necessary requisites: Previous experience in a Smart Repair and/or Body Shop environment; ideally in a senior, supervisor or manager capacity. Full UK driving licence. Natural confidence, with leadership skills. Inspirational and motivational. Ability to seek and effectively implement change.
